Although the price for custom hand scraped flooring may be on the fringe of most budgets it is worth the sacrifice in the long run. Hardwood Maniac offers 3/4 solid, 5/8 engineered, 3/4 engineered, and 13/16 engineered all in long length flooring, graded to NOFMA specifications.
Hardwood Maniac allows you to choose every detail of your hardwood floor to make sure that its the floor you really want. You start by choosing between solid or engineered floor. Then species, widths, flooring grade and edge design are selected. The end result is the finest long length strip or wide plank hardwood flooring money can buy.
The unfinished floor is then sent to a wood craftsman to do the edge work, hand scraping/hewing/distressing, bleaching, staining, and finishing. (Our custom floors rival Zanella, Patina, or Renaissance flooring, except much less!) It is possible to get unfinished hand made flooring with the edge work, texturing, and sanding done for you. Just install and apply finish.
